About virtual offices

What is a virtual office?

A virtual office lets you use a commercial address for your business's correspondence, registrations and public communications, without renting a workspace there. Mail is received at the address and handled for you.

Is a virtual office address legitimate?

Yes. It is provided under a written agreement with the premises owner and comes with supporting documents. Each authority, bank or platform applies its own rules, and some may physically verify the premises.

Can I meet clients at my virtual office address?

Only where the centre offers meeting rooms and your plan includes them, or you book them separately. We confirm this for each location.

Registration & compliance

Do you guarantee GST or company registration?

No. Registrations are decided by the relevant authority, which may raise queries or physically verify the premises. We provide the address documents and help you prepare a complete application.

Are you a government agency or GST Suvidha Provider?

No. VirtualOfficeAddress.in is a private company providing business address and support services. We are not affiliated with any government body.

Will the GST officer visit the address?

They may. The GST department can order a physical verification of the declared premises. We coordinate with the centre so a verification visit can confirm your business is registered at that address.

Can I open a bank account with a virtual office address?

Many banks accept a business address supported by the agreement, NOC and utility bill, but each bank sets its own KYC rules and may visit the premises. Check with your bank first. We can't guarantee its decision.

Can Amazon, Flipkart or other marketplace sellers use a virtual office?

A virtual office can support a GST registration or an additional place of business in a state. If you store stock in that state, the warehouse or fulfilment centre must be declared separately. A business address alone doesn't cover it.

Can I list my virtual office on Google Business Profile?

Generally not. Google's guidelines don't allow virtual offices on Business Profile unless the location is staffed during business hours. Use your virtual address on your website and documents instead.

What documents will I need?

Usually: PAN, identity and address proof of directors or partners, and your constitution documents if the business already exists. We provide the address documents. Each service page lists the details.

Plans, billing & cancellation

Why don't you show prices?

Fees vary by city, building and the services you choose. We would rather give you a written quote with all inclusions and taxes than show a starting price that doesn't match your needs.

Is GST charged on your fees?

Yes. Applicable GST is added to our service fees and shown separately on your quote and invoice.

Are there any hidden charges?

No. Your written quote lists the service fee, applicable GST and any add-ons. Government fees and courier forwarding are passed on at actual cost, and the quote says so.

How quickly will I get my documents?

Timelines depend on the centre and on how quickly KYC is completed. We confirm the delivery time in writing with your quote rather than promise a figure here.

Can my company name be displayed at the address?

That depends on the centre's policy. Signage or a reception listing, where available, is confirmed for your location before you sign.

Does my plan renew automatically?

No. We contact you before your agreement ends, and it renews only when you confirm.

Can I cancel?

Cancellation terms are in our refund policy and set out in your agreement before you sign. Read them before you commit.
